Speaking from my own personal experience, I found the Intermediate to be so
repetitious of material in the Rubank Beginner Book (except of course that
the Intermediate did introduce some ornamentation) that I personally sailed
through it in two months. I often recommend skipping it and going straight
from the Rubank Beginning book (a two year book by the way) right into the
Rubank Advanced Book.

The supplemental material really should be used throughout the Rubank series
as they are a deadly bore otherwise.
