I'm a fan of the KORG KDM-1....for several reasons. It has a nice loud (and
adjustable on the volume) click, which makes it very useful for sax, and
the tone quality of it is sort of the "old school" sound, not a beep, a bit
like the old Franz metronomes, sort of a "hollow" click sound, like a
woodblock; it also will sound an A for tuning. It's not the smallest one on
the market, about the size of two cassette cases, but to me , a very
pleasing sound.
