I use TuneIt on my Palm (http://www.penguin.cz/~ondrap).
It includes a metronome and a tuner. It is freeware.
The one thing I don't like about it is that you can't write in
the tempo that you want using Graffiti--you have to use up/down
arrows. It's great for settling discussions about tempo in
chamber music groups, though ("How fast is quarter note = 96?", etc.).
Which brings to mind a question: What tunes do people use to
remember tempos? I think a lot of people use "Stars and Stripes
Forever" for 120, and someone once told me that "Ain't She Sweet"
is 80. Are there others?
