Nifty program - many thanks for alerting me (us) to it.

FWIW, I promptly tested the PDA tone generation against my KORG CA-30
tuner, and it looks to be spot on over the range (one octave) that the
PDA can produce.

There looked like a lot of other interesting music related codes on
the palmblvd
site, too. So many toys, so little time.

But I guess they have yet to write a code that will actually play the
clarinet for you. What a boon that would be. Think of the practice
and rehearsal time it would save. Just go to the performance, plug
the PDA in, pick up the clarinet, lip it but don't blow it, and enjoy.

Ah well...

It is called "Musician Tools" and includes the metronome, tuner, and a
circle of fifths program (select the key, either major of minor, and
it
shows the key signature). I got it "beamed" to me from someone else,
but
it is available at
http://www.palmblvd.com/software/pc/Musician-Tools-2000-01-26-palm-pc.html
as a $10.00 shareware program. Also at
