After reading everyone's messages about the "test" that was recently given
(which I did not take because I have found I am woefully behind on clarinet
knowledge!!) I recently read an article in the New York Times about World
Music. No, they don't mention anything about being able to distinguish the
nationality of a clarinet player, but they do mention that music from the
world over is more available than ever, especially with the use of the
Internet. And they did mention a clarinet player in the section about
