Rien,

In England the beer mug stein is pronounced "shtine" by everybody I
know, and although I do not know German, I learnt how to pronounce
German for musical use (names of people and names of pieces - words
like lieder and Eine Kleine...); the rule was for ie or ei forget the
first letter of the pair and pronounce the second one so Reen Stine is
how I would automatically have pronounced your name (although possibly
Shtine).
I don't know for certain whether the rule I learnt is 100% correct, but
it always worked for me!
