Wow, just had a listen to some of those clips... the recording of the last
movement of the Francaix (#11) sounded astounding ....... until I clicked on
it again.

I think the RPMs on the record player from which it was transferred were
just a little too high, because that recording ran so fast it ran right out
of my speakers... and was a gazillion cents too sharp. It's either that, or
the bitrate and clock speed on the workstation weren't properly set when it
was mixed down making the recording sound higher and unnaturally faster than
it was actually played. What's up with that?
