Your best choice is a very good computer hooked up to a professional
quality sampling & sequencing system hooked to a very good amplifier
hooked to very good speakers ... with a very good clarinetist and other
players on very good instruments providing the samples ... and a very
good sound engineer tweaking the samples to make the best use of the raw
sound samples.
The rest of us make do with reasonable wavetable synths driven by our
computers (I use SoundFonts and play with them, or did when I had a bit
of spare time), but take the aux out from our soundcards and put it
through our stereos. In SoundFonts you can create your own samples; I'm
sure you can do the same thing with Kontact, at least in their upper-end
software.
