Dan Leeson told the Partitta story, and finished with the admonition:

<<<You owe me a pizza. And Kevin should get out from underneath the bed
where he is hiding and buy me two pizzas.>>>

Not hiding, just busy trying to get the house sold. I'll gladly purchase
pizza, but not for this.

Just so you know, Dan, you're not the only person who's quite so detail
oriented. I knew an attorney at a prominent Wall Street firm who kept a
photocopy of the city charter in his desk just so he could prove to others
that the *real* name of the metropolis that the Yankees play in is "The City
of New York." (Make sure to capitalize the "T" in "The," mind you.)

I've seen lawyers bicker over whether a bank should sign a trust indenture
as "Trustee" but never "as Trustee." I spent a charming night at a
financial printer watching two partners argue over a deal where a bond
issuer in Australia was to be paid in "same-day" funds - but since it's
already tomorrow in Sydney, who loses the day's interest?

. . so it might not seem *too* picky to replicate a typographical error,
even one in red crayon. Chances are that the poor soul who wrote it put it
on the wrong piece anyway.

Pepperoni and onion, yes?
