The "11" is actually a roman numeral "II". One assumes this means that
some change was made to the original, but not enough to call it a new
model. It is encouraging to hear that other people do manage on occasion
to struggle along and perform acceptably on non-Buffet clarinets. :-) I
am playing my Series 10 this weekend, along with my Rene Dumont Eb and a
soprano sax, in a production of "The Music Man" at my old high school.
