There IS a correct spelling though - I'd post it, but I don't believe the
list server would support Cyrillic; if you're curious and have the
capability, you can find the composer's intended spelling here:

(or at least the version he would have used after the various Russian
spelling reforms of the early 20th century)
I can't believe that one would consider using an alphabet other than the one
intended by the composer!
