This from a new member-orchestral player based in Belfast Northern Ireland.
About 25 years ago Everett Matson told me that Harold Wright's Henri
Chedeville had a facing very much like a 5RV. He also gave me the impression
that there were very many bad ones out there . Mat liked to work with Selmer
blanks because there was more material available to produce a decent baffle
shape and he thought it would be better to use something along those lines
rather than chase a dream. Of course Buddy Wright would have sounded
glorious on any old mouthpiece but maybe he was just comfortable with his
Henri.
