Sounds like the Barcus-Bery pickup... It has been years since I saw him
perform (but I remember his performance as being pretty exceptional)=20

Anyways, we discussed this a couple weeks back when the thread was going
strong. Basically, it is a pickup where you'll get great feedback =
rejection
for amplification or signal processing, but you won't exactly get a very
true sound because it is picking up the vibrations from the walls of the
instrument rather than the vibrations in the air (the sound).
