Hey Tony we may disagree on many issues but you kill me!! I believe you say
what you feel and you feel what you say with sincere convictions and
evidence (scientific even). As my boys would say "You be the man"!!!!!!
Have you ever been to Brasil??? I mean on vacation or to play a concert or
teach a workshop??? Some friends (musicians) and myself are trying to get
into producing (a varerity of styles of music) and who knows. Your
curriculum must be extensive and long!!!???
Good luck and peace,
Abraham

OK, fuck it. I'm prepared to say that the words 'dark' and 'bright' as
applied to sounds are meaningful, and comprehensible, and valuable.

What I mean by them is that 'bright' sounds contain a higher proportion of
high frequency harmonics than 'dark' sounds. I also assert that this
difference can be appreciated by sensitive people who don't really know what
'high harmonics' actually are.

And if I, and those who agree with me, continue to insist on this, then the
terms will get more and more useful.

Of course, words change their meaning over time and place. So if necessary,
we can stabilise them so that they mean something that we can agree on, and
that will be useful.

(I never thought, BTW, that the disagreements did any damage. They just
showed rather clearly that some people are clueless.)
