Terry, if you search the Klarinet archives for "wrist pain", you'll find
many different approaches. Certainly physical therapy and exercise is
one approach.

In the area of devices, I hesitate to mention this because the fellow
who sells the device sometimes posts excessive advertising messages
here, but there is a device that a couple of Klarinet subscribers have
praised as being "well engineered". I've never studied it closely, but
I think it rests on the floor or edge of the chair, and it carries most
of the instrument's weight. I think it's built in Norway or other
Scandinavian country, but I may be wrong about this. Anyway, you'll
find it mentioned in the Klarinet archives along with other devices and
therapies.
