Robert. Thanks for you'r reply . Maybe I didn't make clear thaat my 524 is a
wooden clt.
I mainly play dixieland / swing genre and the wide bore Conn is my favourite
over My Selmer centre-tone ( worn toneholes), & a smaller bore Howarth.
Legend has it that Artie Shaw was a big fan of the Conn. Regards Harold
