The A is still perfect (touch wood)
I get laughed at by people in orch for having such ancient cheapo pipes, but
... to be honest, they do stand up quite well next to the 10 10s that others
have. Considering i got the pair for £200 ... and they paid a grand, i'm not
too worried!
Maybe I've just been lucky ... up until now.
I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has these instruments ... do you
oil the bore? Is it better to if the wood isn't particularly good?
I looked inside with a torch earlier, and they seem a bit dry (well
brownish, not black and shiny) in parts.

Cheers
Jools
