(This is a sincere question, not a challenge.) Would you be less
forgiving of the numbers that you have posted if the instrument was a
soprano?

If so, would this be because bass clarinets are more difficult to voice
in the first place and therefore there's little choice, or would it be
because humans hear more accurately in the soprano range and therefore
any soprano 'errors' need to be less?
