Well its interesting:
Klee is a musical instrument but its not a technical term as in other languages.
K L I is inisials for : Kohen , Levi, Israel - to say that unlike sacred work , that was allowed only to Kohen and Levi,
the music is for all people.
Zemer - is a song , but the letters Z M R - has many meanings : ZRM is a stream , MRZ is some thing that has a healing power.
So Kli Zemer is an instrument to sing with - and the instrument is the body of the person who "sings".
Its really a very nice word.
