How much of the difference that you [allegedly] hear between
Leister and Morales is real, and how much is because you assume
that there is a difference, so you find it to be the case.

And if you can characterize the German sound as "Darker and with
less of an edge," cannot some with equal earnestness characterize
it as "Brighter and with more of an edge"?

Besides that fact that "darker" is enough of a problem, when you
add and "edge" to it you place another level of difficulty on top
of the problem.

What is an edge?
