To refer to German sound is, I feel, one way of describing a character of
sound produce by many individuals, not all of whom are German. To me it is
best illustrated by the sound of Karl Leister. This sound is very different
than the US/French sound produced by people like Ricardo Moralles; pardon
me if the names are not spelled correctly. I would characterize the German
sound as 'Darker and with less of an edge' but I realize that I would be
pushing Leesons' button by trying to use a graphic visual description of an
aural phenom.
