Well if that is the official title, it is a bizarre one.
Naturally one presumes that it produces a clarinet sound full of
umlauts.

The manufacturer first mentioned (Wolfgang Dietz) calls his
Boehm-system, German bore clarinets "German Sound clarinets"
(it's the
actual model name I think, not just a description). That's how
the term
first got mentioned on this list.

Should we let him know that he has eaten his last pizza? :-P
