This has been suggested before. It may be worth pointing out that only one
sort of person has anything to fear from me, and that's the sort that wants
to hold forth and to say it 'like it is' -- when it isn't. That applies both
to 'how you should play the clarinet' and to other things.

To write 'presumptuous nobody' was careless of me. I have nothing going on
about your status, or mine for that matter.

'Presumptuous know-nothing' would have been better, since it leaves you some
room to know something at some future time -- if you make an effort, that is.
