Normally, I would agree. In the context of this conference, I was surprised
USC did not indicate the edition of the "Gran Partita" which was used. The
University of Texas did indicate which edition of Handel's "Royal Fireworks
Music" they used. Remember, this is the Collegiate Band Directors National
Association. Collegiate band directors really do care about what edition
they are hearing because they could easily be programming the work next year.

Myself, I was just curious. Having recently purchased the score to Dan's
edition, I would have liked to know if I was hearing the same edition I own.
