One of my most memorable musical experiences was playing the
Sibelius music for Shakespeare's "The Tempest." It is such a
complicated play, hard to fathom. Yet sitting on the stage
behind a scrim which separated us from the actors, we played that
wonderful music. It was pure pleasure.
