Interesting Walt, I bought one from WoodwindBrasswind about a year ago and
it was so smooth it wouldn't stay on the mouthpiece. I'd tighten it down
and watch is slide back up. I had to run a graver on the inside where it
meets the back of the mouthpiece to keep it on.
