As promised, the Reger Quintet MIDI files are ready for download and your
playing pleasure at

Whoever sequenced them put the pizzicato strings in track 1, separate from
whatever instrument might actually be doing it.

Our quintet assembled at 8pm last Friday to play the K.V.A. 90 fragment
with the basset horn part played by Michael as Violin II (see photo at the
top of the Web page). It was greatly enjoyed by all, but don't take my
word for it. Download the score, extract the parts, do the transposition
from Basset Horn to Violin, fix up the octaves, hypnotize a string quartet
to follow you into your studio and enjoy.
