Hi Walter,
Saw the Kirov Ballet in London some 4 years ago - Sleeping Beauty. Large
band in the pit, and 100 dancers on stage in the Grand Waltz scene.
Magnificent.
Does the single reed section want to buy an 'A' I wonder?
Aside:- I have a Russian colleague who has gone back home to 'Kirov
country' - St Petersburg, to study politics at the uni. He says that when
he`s passed his finals, and has reached the Capital city`s hub of
government, he`s going to bring me over to play in the Kremlin. I`ll send
you a post card . . . . . . :-)
