Subj: [kl] Looking for George Klimowicz and Francisco Mangnone
Date: Thu, 24 Feb 2005 20:19:56 -0500

Walter, Thanks for the kudos.

Okay, I admit to having an ulterior motive to signing on again. I
need help finding two things:

1. Does anyone know what happened with George Klimowicz? He used to
run a web page where you could download a seemingly endless list of
MIDI files of clarinet and piano music. I frequently use these MIDI
files as teaching tools for my students - they only get a 20 minute
rehearsal with a real pianist for a 5 minute recital performance. I
could use more of these files!! Any clues?

2. I am looking for a piece that George made available on his site:
Francisco Mangnone, Concertino. Does anyone know the composer or
piece and where I can get ahold of it? Couldn't even find it on the
Composition Database. It's possible that it was originally written
for another instrument. Any clues?

Tom
