I tried out the Yamaha reform-boehm clarinets in Gent at the Clarinetfest in
1993, so they've been around for a while. I remember they were not quite as
good as my Wurlitzer Reform-Boehms. In the meantime a student of mine has
bought a Bb reformboehm by Yamaha. It's a pretty good horn. He's playing a
regular German mouthpiece on it and sounding very good.
