Dan, only trouble is, the Vandoren mouthpieces are designed for the narrower
French bore, and are not a good match to the wider-bore B&H clarinets. The
sound will be great, but do check that the intonation is OK, especially the
twelfths and the throat tone region. I gave up using Vandoren mouthpieces
when I had B&H clarinets, for this reason.

Glad you solved the hiss problem, though!
