As far as your problem goes, give me a call for an appointment and I would
be happy to look at it with you. I'm in Pasadena, just a little south of the
Baltimore beltway. Eb clarinet is my instrument. I played it for 20 years
with the Naval Academy Band.

Walter,
Wow, that was quick. I have checked and all the keys are indeed
staying closed. Why would the two keys you mentioned have any effect?
Aren't they at the end of the instrument? The air has already vented from
the LH index finger hole. (Am I understanding you correctly that the Ab/Eb
key is the one played with the RH pinky and the F/C the same way?).
