We just got word that high schools in the Vancouver, B.C. area have
been strongly hit by instrument thieves stealing saxophones only.
Almost every one of the high schools in two Vancouver suburbs have been
hit, some more than once. Thieves are simply walking in and stealing
saxes from storage rooms. We believe there may be an organized theft
ring who may be supplying some ebay sellers. If you see saxophones for
sale which originate in Canada and are only being sold to U.S. buyers -
beware, they may be stolen property.
