Check the left hand 1st finger hole (the one that's open on the top when you
play C#). Maybe some grime (or even tape or other material put in to tune
the thumb F/C pitches) is in the way. How are thumb F and the C a 12th
above? If the hole is clear and they can stand to be a shade sharper,
undercutting the hole a little beyond the factory's work might help. The
notes above it may be benefiting from opening the Ab/Eb - C# is the only
altissimo note that doesn't (for most players) get the help of the extra
venting.
