There are a number of good currency converters on the web. One that I

Notice that at the bottom of the page there is a "reverse" function, so
you can have both the yen-$ and the $-yen conversion. When I travel, I
usually print out both versions of this chart and carry them with me
until I get familiar with the conversion.
