Another argument for claripatch is that the reeds are supposed to last
longer when always using claripatch. I cannot affirm or deny this as I have
tried it too little and only with my wooden mouthpiece which I have set
aside again. By the way Harold, there was a discussion about claripatches
recently. Why don't you have a look in the archives. Go to
http://test.woodwind.org/Search/index.html and type in "claripatch". I just
got 21 hits on it.
