Wow. I thought of Mendelssohn, but as fond as I am of his music,
I couldn't think of anything that could qualify as "the superlative religio=

work of the musical canon". I thought of the B-minor Mass and the passions=
, but didn't see how clarinets could be a possibility. How utterly cool!
Will there be a recording of this performance? I'd really like to have it!
