My son and I attended a lecture by Dan Leeson about the Mozart Requiem at
UNLV (followed by a performance, unfortunately, without basset horns) a few
years ago.

My son really like the piece so I asked Robert Levin what recording he
recommended of his completion and he recommended this one:

My son has listened to it a lot but I have not so I really can't comment on
the basset horn playing. When I was looking on Amazon for this CD, I found
that several more recordings of the Levin completion are now available.
