Dear clarinet list,

I have completed the short term goal of getting my new website up at
www.osbornmusic.com

On it you will find all the content of the old site, plus a few new
things. Over the next few months, I will add much more.

In October, I premiered a new piece for Clarinet Solo, called "Character
Pieces."
In its five movements are represented four clarinetists and three composers
who are known only by their initials. The score and audio files are
available on my website for FREE to anyone who wants them. They may also be
distributed FREE to anyone you choose. Please enjoy! Follow the link to
"list of works" and "clarinet music." It should be easy to find. Please
let me know what you think of the piece :)

One other addition is to the Orchestral Excerpt Guide section, where I have
uploaded a prototype, of Semiramide, for what I hope the final product will
look like for all of the excerpts to be discussed: original score,
discussion, score with notes, and audio file. Please let me know what you
think of that as well. This is the section I hope to largely finish
throughout the year.

I will also be putting up more audio excerpts from my compositions, and I
have in mind a "comparison corner" where several recordings of a given work
are uploaded for comparision and discussion.
