Perhaps there is not an HS for Eb, but the HS for Bb was the personal
facing of Henri Selmer. When his fellow players liked the sound but found
the facing too close for their taste, they asked him to make a more open
version, so he created the HS*. Later, jazz players suggested an even more
open facing for them, and thus the HS** was born.
