Rien, I think that the word "killed" is too broad and unspecific
to be applied to the Auschwitz world. A person can be killed
when they fall down a hole. People are killed by accident all
the time. To be killed says nothing about what really happened.

In referring to that world which I remember living through as a
child and seeing the newreels in 1945, we should use the proper
word. Those people, guilty of nothing but having a different
belief system, were "murdered."
