A great thanks to Ed Lacey for mentioning the Menlo Park Edison site. I
just spent several hours listening to many of the recordings (retired people
can do that!). What a treat, especially the Gershwin, Caruso singing "Over
There", Al Jolsen in his early days, Will Rogers promoting Henry Ford for
president, Tony Randall recorded on an Edison machine, etc.

They even got a donation out of me to restore the Edison Tower!
