Bryan,
The only one I have heard (admittedly, not many) that I remember
liking was the "Pied Piper" by Roger Hannay (sp?). Oh yeah, also a work
by Harold Seletsky (sp?) written for his daughter called, I think,
"Robin's Piece". These are not 'student pieces' but I seem to remember
that they were not particularly technically difficult.
