Have been behind in emails and can't read all tonight but -
I bought a set of claripatches at the Berlin clarinet symposium in October.
My main reason was because I was wanting to use (again) a very nice wooden
mouthpiece which I've had for some time but gave up using as it kept
changing too much. The claripatches helped for that purpose indeed. But
eventually, the patches did not keep up with the mouthpiece! I've switched
back to my P+4 mouthpiece (Viotto) and at the moment, feel no more need to
use the patches - except as a reed case... I do tote them along with me just
in case
