Goodman's image was used in ADVERTISING for the Selmer Series 9. I do not
know what he actually played on the recordings made in 1967 and 68, but the
album cover of his Weber 1st and 2nd Concerti shows him holding what is
clearly a Series 9. It is not unreasonable to expect that the Selmer
Company would PROVIDE Goodman with instruments, but whether or not he used
them was his choice.
