I recently moved away from the Luyben ligatures as the threads strip very
easily. I recommend the Rovners as they seem to be very durable and made
well. Keep it simple and don't tighten the screw too tight-just until it
feels snug on the mouthpiece.

All of my beginning clarinet and sax are using it with good results.
