Keep the ligature that you have, whatever it is.

Then choose reeds that go best with it.

It is true that, because different ligatures alter the sound of whatever reed
you have, it may be that you can use a different ligature to enhance the
quality of a particular reed. So it can be advantageous to own a variety of
ligatures.

But all the rest is just bullshit.

Take it from me.
