This, too, is what I am finding!

Once, about two years ago, I set out to find a recording of the
Pineapple Poll Suite arranged for band (by Charles Mackerras?) because
a) my band was reading it at the time and b) it has an Eb solo in one
of the movements and i had just picked up the Eb. Well, I searched
high and low for a wind ensemble recording that included even the
entire suite. Then, low and behold, I found a recording from 1985 by
an Edmonton band that the jacket said it contained the entire suite. I
was so excited when I finally got the CD it went directly from my
mailbox into my cd player. BUT the one movement I wanted, where I
could here the Eb play a solo? yep, it was missing. The band
obviously did not have an Eb player at the time of that recording. So
long story short - the London Philharmonic conducted by Charles
Mackerras was as close as I got.
