Another recording you might consider is Paul Hindemith Klarinet Quintet Opus
30 (with string quartet). This is the 1923 version wich is somewhat shorter
than the 1955 revision currently stocked by Shott for just under 40 euros
although I think you can purchase the 1923 premier version if you ask. It
goes back and forth between Bb clarinet and Eb clarinet. I have the DG
Musikproduktion Dabringhaus und Grimm MD+G L 3447 with Ulf Rodenhauser,
Klarinet.

I was able to find mp3.com but no sean osborn CDs. Albany records has
"American Music" (which I purchased) but no "The Clarinet Music of Sean
Osborn" I even checked out Amazon (found at least 25 CDs I want to own
.... eventually) but only one CD "for high winds" and that only had
one song recorded with an Eb. Or at least so it said.

I have a copy of the Sonata for Eb and Piano. I wish I had thought of
getting a recording sooner! (Sean, if you are reading this - no,
regretfully, i haven't had much opportunity to really work on it yet as
i had to take a bit of a break from my eefer last year and am just
taking it up again now)
