Classical music polls also always give strange results because, even if
you can define what classical is, there is such a vast number of
classical works to choose from and composers have such vastly different
quantities of output. There is also certainly a great difference
between having pollees think of the names of pieces themselves vs.
choosing from a list, which of course will have bias from the poller. So
one-hit wonders are likely to make the list, but, say I kind of like
Vivaldi's concerto -- can I name just one?? -- well there's that
Seasonings thing -- or is that four? I notice that one of the lists has
the Brandenburg Concertos as one item; is that legal? How many people
could give the number of the one with flute, fiddle and harpsichord if
there were a quiz?
